My story

My name is Tiny, and I had the best Dog Day Out! I got to ride shotgun (which I take very seriously—I’m a total pro), and then hit the trails at Bromley North Nature Preserve in Chapel Hill. Even though the trail was busy, I kept my cool and stayed focused on sniffing out all the best spots. Other dogs and people didn’t bother me one bit—I just kept doing my thing.I even waded into a creek to practice my water rescue skills (really, I just like splashing around). And here’s something that gave my DDO pal a good laugh—I raise my leg to go to the bathroom, whether it’s number one or two. What can I say? I have a refined sense of style.After hiking at the preserve, I still had energy to spare, so I walked two more miles from Burlington Animal Services to Red Slide Park and back. I enjoyed every minute—and every snack I got afterward.I’m calm, smart, and easy to walk. Barking dogs? Crowds? No problem. I just keep moving forward. I might look a little sad sometimes, but I promise I’m full of heart and ready to meet my person.Let’s hit the trail together.– Tiny
