Deaf as a post or selective hearing? We`re not really sure but Dahlia is at the age where she doesn`t care either way. This senior lady sleeps hard and long and also has a penchant for eating rocks, she`s one quirky lady. Pros are she`s an easy girl on leash, rests often and is already fully trained. Plus she has the coolest polka dot ears! Cons are she can be quite the drama queen when she wants attention (read chatty Cathy, if she feels ignored) Dahlia really just wants a comfy bed and some leisurely walks with a human who will make the center of attention. Not too much to ask at her age!The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more.Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information. ** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate your understanding and patience.** HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal’s location. From the Dog Kennels/Dog Isolation/Dog Quarantine (in shelter): To meet this dog, please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119, between 1 – 5 pm one of on one of our open days, no appointment needed.
