Ruby

My story

Ruby is a precious senior girl who has been through too much in her 12 years. She was found as a stray and had severe dry eye disease that had not been treated, resulting in pain and blindness. She has been groomed and pampered, had an extensive dental, and had eye surgery to remove her very damaged and non-functional eyes. She feels SO much better and we are so happy for sweet Ruby. Ruby would do best in a more quite home where she will not be expected to navigate stairs. She is mostly deaf as well so we recommend older children only. No young children. She does well with other respectful dogs that are not high energy. She basically ignores them. She loves her food and loves to eat. She is very attached to her kennel and bed as you can imagine with her blindness. She can leave them and walk around a small distance away. She does not bark and foster Mom takes her potty outside during the times she leaves her kennel. She is a sweet sweet girl who deserves a pampering retirement home for her to live out the rest of her days. Due her age and medical complexity, we received approval from department of agriculture to not spay Ruby as it would have been too hard on her little body.
