My story

**LULU IS AVAILABLE AS A PART OF OUR SENIORS ADOPTING SENIORS INITIATIVE: ~This pet is eligible for our SENIORS ADOPTING SENIORS initiative! Seniors (65+) are permitted to adopt a senior dog (8+) for the reduced adoption fee of $75.00 ABOUT ME… Hi, I’m Lulu! I’m a sweet 7-year-old Beagle/Blue Heeler mix with a heart full of love. Though I recently lost my owner, I’m bravely adjusting to this new chapter with a wagging tail and a hopeful heart. I love being outside — sniffing, exploring, and soaking up the sunshine is my favorite way to spend the day. When the adventures are over, I’m all about snuggles and cozy nights in. I am fully potty trained and have no need with a crate, as I never chew on anything I’m not supposed to! I AM GREAT WITH… Kids! I’m gentle and patient, and I love having little humans to keep me company. I AM NOT GOOD WITH… I’m still figuring out how I feel about some new experiences, so a calm and understanding home would be best while I continue to adjust. I AM STILL WORKING ON… Getting used to new routines. I’ve only ever known life with my previous owner, so I’m learning how to feel comfortable in different environments. I REQUIRE… Lots of outdoor time! A home with a yard or someone who loves taking walks would be a dream come true for me. And, of course, plenty of love, patience, and belly rubs. VETTING... ~All animals in our care are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (age 1 & up), given preventatives, and provided with initial vaccinations AT MINIMUM. ~If booster shots have not been completed prior to adoption, they may be completed at our clinic in Columbus, OH at no additional expense. Alternatively, the adopter can use their own vet to boost vaccinations, at their own expense. TERMS & CONDITIONS... ~Adopters must reside in the State of Ohio. ~No transportation assistance is provided; adopter must commute for meet & greet. ~Meet & greets are not scheduled until there is an approved adoption application on file. ~The expectation is that you will bring your new pet home from the meet & greet, if all goes well. Please be prepared to do so by bringing a collar, leash, harness, crate, etc. to secure your new pet.
