My story

This distinguished gentleman is Spengler! He ended up at the shelter on 2/15 after his owner was arrested. Spengler is house-trained and the volunteers describe him as a total sweetheart! He LOVES treats and toys and he also knows how to sit nicely when asked. Spengler is a very nice dog and you can tell he has been loved. If you're looking for an older, more mature dog with some pep in his step then Spengler may be your guy! Spengler is approximately 10 years old and weighs 69 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, tested negative for heartworms and has been microchipped. Because of his age, Spengler will need to be neutered at the adopter's veterinarian. Please come meet Spengler in run 51; his ID # is 8148. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
