My story

Meet Duncan - Your Future Cuddle Buddy! Duncan is a 6.5-year-old male dog with a heart full of love and a need for a second chance. Just last month, Duncan bravely approached us after emerging from the woods in desperate need of help. His health was in bad shape, but we couldn't turn away from this sweet soul. After some care and love, he's now on the mend and looking for his forever home through DPA. Duncan is as affectionate as they come! He's a professional cuddler who lives for snuggle time with his favorite humans. Belly rubs are his ultimate love language, and he'll never say no to a comfy spot by your side. He does well with easygoing dogs, but hyper pups can overwhelm him, so a calmer doggie friend would be ideal. Duncan isn't a fan of cats, so he'll need a feline-free home. This handsome guy is already leash and crate trained, and he knows some basic commands, making him a breeze to live with. Duncan has moderate energy-while he enjoys exploring on walks, he also appreciates plenty of downtime to relax and recharge. Due to his recent health struggles, he's not very playful at the moment, but once he's fully recovered, who knows what kind of adventures he'll be ready for! Duncan is all about treats! His favorite snack is anything involving peanut butter, especially when it's stuffed inside his Kong toy. He may be chill, but when it comes to treats, he'll perk right up. Because Duncan is still regaining his health, his ideal routine and home life are yet to be fully understood. However, he'll thrive in a home that offers lots of love, care, and belly rubs.
