My story

🐾 A Day Out With Lemon Meringue! 🐾 ✨ Field Trip — Through My Eyes! ✨ Hi everyone! It’s me, Lemon Meringue (ASC #91342)… your friendly, wiggly, peanut-butter-loving adventure girl! Today was my best day ever, so I thought I’d tell you all about it myself. 💛 First off… the car. Getting in the car? Easy! I almost hopped right in all by myself—just needed a tiny boost for my back legs. Getting out of the car? Ummm… absolutely not. No thank you. I am a statue. My new friend had to lift me because I am a “big girl.” I prefer to be chauffeured in style, okay? Once we got moving though… WOW. So! Many! Smells! We went for a long walk and I even ran a bit. Running is cool but not really my thing—I prefer trotting around underfoot like a happy little shadow. Safety first! 😉 Then… PARK TIME! We took pretty pictures and I posed like the supermodel I am. If birds or cars go by, I point at them like a fancy hunting dog. I even did it from INSIDE the car. I take my job seriously. Next stop… PETSMART!! This was my FAVORITE. I met soooo many new humans (I LOVE humans!!). I wagged at everyone and they all asked to pet me because apparently I’m irresistible. A little boy even said I should be named Hershey Kisses because of my color and all the kisses I give. 💋🍫 AND—you will not believe this—I picked out my own treats. Peanut butter ones. I may or may not have pulled them off the shelf repeatedly until my friend got the hint. What can I say? I’m a girl who knows what she wants. After that we went to my new friend’s house, and I explored ALL the toys. I even found this weird rolling thing humans call a skateboard. I had no idea what it was, but I bravely put my front paws on it—even while it rolled! My friend said I “skipped steps” because I’m so confident. Maybe next time I’ll learn to ride it like a pro. 🛹✨ I didn’t bark all day. Not once. Even when a big off-leash dog charged at us, I greeted them with happy tail wags and polite sniffing. I love dogs, I love kids, I love people, I love snacks… honestly I love everything. I am affectionate, laid-back, social, and maybe… just a little underfoot sometimes. I give hugs (and yes, I might jump up for them). I had some trouble settling down after all the excitement, but it was worth it. 💛 My Favorite Part of the Whole Day: Meeting soooo many new friends! I ended the day tired, happy, and full of peanut butter treats. I’d rate my adventure a 10/10 and I can’t wait for my next outing!
