My story

At 12 years young and 7 pounds, Ally may be tiny, but don’t let that fool you. She’s not afraid to tell the big, confident dogs to back off, but when it comes to little dogs, she couldn’t care less. She and her dad Hachi quietly follow each other around. 🌟 Bonded with dad Hachi! They’re quiet, gentle, and stick together like peanut butter and jelly. 🐾 Kid-Friendly (With Dog-Savvy Kids!) She’s small and delicate, so gentle hands are a must. 🚽 Housebreaking… A Work in Progress! She prefers doing her business outside but might leave you a little “surprise” overnight in her kennel. (Hey, nobody’s perfect!) 🌎 Explorer Extraordinaire! Loves to sniff around the yard like she’s solving a great mystery. Ally is looking for a loving home where she and Hachi can enjoy their golden years together. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
