This is "Grumpy"! Grumpy is a tiger with calico and she is about 4-5 years old. She is a very pretty girl even with a name like "Grumpy"! Grumpy was found as a stray by UCONN on East Main Street in downtown Waterbury and came to us a year ago. When we took Grumpy in, she was not a very happy camper to say the least, hence her name "Grumpy"! Grumpy was not happy with the other cats in her foster home but, with time, she has come around and she is doing very well. Grumpy is a very nice cat. Her foster says she is over nice! Grumpy has come a long way. Grumpy is no longer grumpy!! Grumpy would do well in a house with no other cats. If she could be the only cat, she would like that very much. Grumpy would make a great companion for a retired couple. In Grumpy's new home, children must be 6 years old or older. Grumpy came to us spayed, she got her shots and she tested negative for feline leukemia/aids. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules. The adoption fee for Grumpy is $180.00. No credit cards. You can meet any of our animals at Petco located at 201 Union Street in Waterbury on Saturday during our adoption hours from 12:00 to 3:00 so, if you are interested in meeting Grumpy or a particular animal, please email us at feline55keeper@gmail.com and we will be certain to bring that particular animal with us to Petco on Saturday. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE STRESS THAT IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM US, YOU MUST HAVE A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE...NO EXCEPTIONS!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Grumpy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
