Meet Lucas – A Loyal Boy Looking for a Lifetime of Love Lucas is a 1.5-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who weighs about 57 lbs. He was rescued from Apple Valley Shelter, pulled off the euthanasia list just in time. This sweet boy has already overcome so much—and now he needs a forever family who won’t give up on him. Lucas is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He’s friendly with people and gets along well with other dogs with proper introductions. He was officially adopted—but sadly, his adopter had to move out of town for work and couldn’t take Lucas with him. Now Lucas is once again looking for a home—but this time, we want it to be forever. He needs a family who’s ready to commit to the next 10–12 years, through thick and thin. He deserves security, love, and a place to call home—for good.
