My story

Meet Nora, a senior female beagle found on Sunday. She was likely overbred and then dumped, and arrived at Miami-Dade Animal Services in deplorable conditions. Unfortunately, she was not improving at the shelter and was at risk for euthanasia. Knowing she needed urgent medical care, the shelter, who we partner with, reached out to us at South Florida Beagle Rescue, even arranging transport to get her to our veterinarian. These are the cases that matter most to us. No matter how much time they have left on this earth, giving an ill or senior dog the love, care, and dignity they deserve means everything to us. Now, Nora is safe and loved. We have run preliminary blood work and X-rays to determine her health status. Stay tuned for updates. As always, donations are welcomed. Taking care of sick and elderly dogs is expensive and we need all the support we can get. ❤️🙏🏼
