Adoption Donation: $150 Meet Ruthie – Your Lap-Loving Chatty Companion! Ruthie is a beautiful grey tabby with a quiet, gentle spirit and a big love for people. She’s the perfect mix of calm and affectionate — the kind of cat who makes any house feel like home. Though she’s a quiet girl at heart, Ruthie isn’t shy about telling you how much she loves you. She’s delightfully talkative and absolutely adores sitting in laps, soaking up attention and giving sweet purrs in return. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving cat who’s happiest right by your side, Ruthie is ready to curl up and call you her own. All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats).  A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals. We look forward to seeing you soon!
