Joyful Joby

My story

Hello World! My name is Joyful Joby and I’m 12 pounds of fun in a very cute body! I’m about three years old and as sweet as can be. I love riding in the car, going on walks and am excited at all new adventures. Although I’m a bit shy when I first meet strangers once I get to know them, I become attached very quickly and love with all my heart!  I’m definitely a lovebug and one who wants to find my special person or persons . My doggy foster siblings have been “showing me the ropes” and teaching me that the world’s a great place and people are both kind and loving. That has helped me a lot!  My Foster Mom says that playing with toys is my happy time (or is it my Super Power?) I love to play fetch (you should see me in action!), have mastered the art of making music with squeaky toys and love to run in the yard (chasing or being chased by my doggy foster brother and sisters.) I get along great with them but I'd really prefer to be the center of someone's universe. I can learn so much and would bask in the attention. Oh! And I do the bestest zoomies, too!  I’ve been learning commands, understanding how to walk on a leash (I’m fast!) and mastering housebreaking. Mom says I’m a people pleaser and I DO want to make her happy! Now in terms of those creatures called cats, I’m definitely way too interested in the ones I have seen on our walks. So not cats in my forever home please!   And since I haven’t been around many children Mom thinks I’d probably do best in a home with ‘bigger people.’ I’m also going to be most successful with savvy adopters who are able to be patient with me as we get to know one another.  My Ideal Home: *Someone home most of the time *No other pup in the home is required *Adults preferably * No cats or young children Experience level: *Have had dogs as an adult *Recent/current dog experience a plus  So if you are looking for a little lovebug who loves to cuddle, play with toys, go on adventures and be the best companion you could ask for, please complete an application and ask for me.
