My story

This pretty brindle lady is Malva! She ended up at the shelter as a lost dog on 3/12, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. Malva is a complete doll! She is so expressive; her smile is contagious! The volunteers describe her as super sweet and friendly! She is quiet in her kennel, but playful and fun-loving outside once outside! Malva could use someone patient and kind to help her work on leash walking skills. She is jumpy when excited, but with a little consistency and lots of treats she'll learn. If Malva sounds like the new BFF you've been searching for, please come meet her! Malva is approximately 3 years old and weighs 63 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Malva is waiting patiently in run 872; her ID # is 8679. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
