My story

This handsome gentleman is Franco! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 3/14 and no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Franco as adorable and friendly, though initially a little shy. He is a curious fellow and he takes treats gently. If Franco sounds like the new BFF you've been searching for, please come meet him! Franco is approximately 2 years old and weighs 53 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Franco is waiting patiently in run 882; his ID # is 8743. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
