My story
The sunshine of your life! Cali is a 3-year-old, 38-pound Brindle Terrier with the sweetest heart. She`s got a love for running in the yard, and she`s fantastic on the leash plus, she knows how to stand pretty next to you like a true California girl! This snacking buddy loves treats, so if you`re a fan of sharing snacks, Cali`s your girl. She`s also a little extra special with a heart full of love, though she is currently heartworm positive. But don`t worry HSSM adopters get a discounted treatment price, so Cali can be back to her healthy, playful self in no time. Cali has been with us since March 25th, 2025, after being found as a stray... again. Unfortunately, her previous home didn’t want her, but we know there’s a perfect family out there who will. Come on down to HSSM and make Cali the forever sunshine in your life! Don`t let her heartworm status stop you from meeting your future best friend. She`s the Cali for you!
