My story

Say hello to this precious baby named Skylar. She arrived at the shelter as a lost little girl on 3/10. Skylar is on another journey in her young years to find another loving family who is willing to take care her properly and treat her with respect every single day for the rest of her life. She is more than just a pet, she is a family member that should be treated as such. Skylar is described as a sweet girl who is stays very quiet in her kennel. Skylar is only 3 years old and weighs 53lbs. She has had some hair loss but with some TLC and patience, it should grow back more beautiful then ever before. She can be a little strong on the leash but with a lot of patience, devotion, and a refresher course in leash training, she will have that mastered in no time at all! She is eager to learn! She is a smart baby as she knows how to sit when asked and she may know more. She does not deserve to start out her young years in a loud shelter due to the irresponsibility of others. She would really love to spend the rest of her life with decent, loving family who will take the necessary time and patience to make sure this sweetheart lives out her life to the utmost fullest. Let it include a soft, comfortable bed, treats, toys and lots and lots of unconditional love. Are you the person to make her dreams come true and not let her down? Skylar is current on vaccines, will be spayed, micro chipped and has tested negative for heart worm which is awesome news for our Skylar! This precious angel will be waiting for her favorite, forever person in Cage 835 and ask for ID# 8627. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
