My story

Meet Gizmo 🐾 Gizmo is a handsome 1-year-old boy that weighs in at 18 pounds. Gizmo is VERY high energy and will need an active family and, ideally, a sturdy playmate! 🐶 He is very good with other dogs, but he is still very much a puppy and needs to learn to respect "personal space" 🫣. His favorite hobbies are running in the yard and keeping a collection of chewies. 🦴 He very much loves to be around his people, but takes a long moment to settle into new situations. Small children seem to be a lot for him, so a family with older children would be best. Apply to adopt at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUVR/dog All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats over 8 months of age, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need.
