Boogie is a calm, gentle, and dignified senior cat who is perfectly content spending his days napping, roaming around the house, and simply being in the presence of his favorite people. With a peaceful and kind personality, Boogie moves through life with quiet confidence, never in a rush—just taking in the world at his own pace. Boogie would do well as a solo cat or in a home with other laid-back kitties. He’s met the resident cats in his foster home and remains unbothered—not much rattles this distinguished gentleman! While he’s independent and doesn’t demand constant attention, he does love being pet and enjoys sleeping in the same room and same bed as his humans. He’s a big ol’ boy who prefers to keep all four paws on the ground, so he’s not a big fan of being picked up. However, he adores affection and will happily accept pets whenever they’re offered. Boogie isn't necessarily a lap cat, but that doesn’t stop him from being a lovebug! He really enjoys pets and attention and when it’s time to relax in the evenings he’s never far away from his people. As the king of the castle, Boogie commands respect from the younger cats and maintains a quiet authority. He would thrive in a calm and quiet home—especially as a companion for an older person or someone who works from home. He’s low-maintenance, undemanding, and simply happy to be near his people. While his days of crazily chasing toys may be behind him, Boogie still finds plenty of joy in life’s simpler pleasures. His favorite activity? Relaxing. Whether he's curled up in a cozy spot, sitting nearby his people on the couch, or keeping a watchful eye on his home and the world outside the window perch, he exudes a warm and calming presence that makes any room feel cozier. His foster mom will truly miss having him as her couch companion, but she knows he’s ready to bring his quiet charm to a forever home.
