My story

Pretty Lyla is around 2.5 years old and a rottweiler and shepherd mix. She came to us from another local rescue because she was waiting far too long to find an adopter. At 70 lbs., she is a strong girl and a little hesitant at first, but she warms up quickly and when she does, you better watch out, because she is a LOVER! She’ll throw her body right up against you and give you enthusiastic kissies. Oh, and Lyla especially fancies belly rubs! When she gets excited, she’ll get the zoomies, too. When Lyla wants your attention, she can be a bit chatty and has loud voice, so she’d do best in a home without shared walls. She is open to meeting other dogs and can be kitty-tested upon request. We believe Lyla would do fine in a home with respectful kids. She is learning leash manners and will need an owner who can handle her strength.
