My story

Meet Oliver Joe! Oliver Joe and his sister Savannah have been through a lot recently. After the passing of their beloved mom, they were entrusted to our care through the Final Wish Program, and now we’re looking for a special family who will welcome this sweet, senior duo into their home together. These two 15-year-olds have spent their entire lives side by side, and their bond is undeniable. They are incredibly sweet, snuggly, and just want to be loved. It’s important to us that they are adopted as a pair to ensure they don’t experience yet another heartbreaking loss. This lovable pair is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can learn more about them in a home. Their Fling Mom shared this update: "Sweet bonded pair, Savannah and Oliver have settled in. Savannah is blind, but she learned to get herself in/out of the house, and she is finally eating better. I think Savannah Jo is a mama's girl, laying by my feet, being held in my arms, and today found me in the yard where I was weeding, and laid down beside me. Oliver is more independent, but he loves pets and head scratches. Both have used puppy pads if they don't have access to get outside. I do have to keep an eye on Oliver when they eat, as he'll finish his food, and want to move over to eat Savannah's food. They have no separation anxiety, sleep through the night, ride well in the car, and now just need to find their forever home! Savannah is on eye drops and no other meds. She is scheduled for a dental at the end of May. Oliver is a healthy boy, no meds, and no teeth! They are such a lovable pair and very easygoing."
