My story

Meet Ziggy, a lovable and goofy boy with a sunny disposition and a heart full of joy. Ziggy is about 3-4 years old and has the perfect balance of playful energy and calm affection. He’s a wonderful dog who thrives on attention and loves to make people smile. Whether he's zooming around excitedly or settling in for a snuggle, Ziggy's cheerful personality will brighten your day! Ziggy was found abandoned and scared on the streets, and while he was a bit overwhelmed in the shelter, he’s flourished in foster care. He's come a long way, and it’s clear that he’s a quick learner with a love for life. He’s fully potty, crate, and house trained, and already knows several commands like "sit," "stay," "shake," "lay down," "wait," and "back up." Ziggy walks beautifully on a leash, though he’s strong and could easily pull if he wanted to, but he’s gentle with his human, knowing his strength. Ziggy is friendly with other dogs. While he’s never been around cats, he’s shown no signs of being reactive with other dogs. He's a true cuddle bug who will quickly become your loyal companion and protector. With his deep bark reserved for protecting those he loves, Ziggy will always make sure his human feels safe and cared for. Ziggy would do well with a single person, a couple, or a family with older children. He loves outdoor adventures but also enjoys quiet time inside, lounging on his bed or the couch with his favorite humans. A fenced yard or long lead would be perfect for his outdoor time, where he can roam and explore before curling up for some cozy cuddles. Ziggy is truly a rockstar in foster care. His playful, affectionate, and smart nature will win you over, and once he falls in love with you, he’ll be your best friend for life.
