My story

You would be forgiven if you mistook our Cher for another fabulous senior lady of the same name! Our is quite a bit smaller, but every bit as wonderful. Even at 12 years old, she`s a wiggly girl, ready for love and attention. A volunteer took Cher out for a day and this is what they had to say, `We went to sonic for a pup cup and Cher waited patiently until I allowed her to have some. She seemed very happy to be sniffing and walking the trails at the nature center. She was sweet but not overly affectionate, which may change with time. She does not seem like a 12-year-old dog; she was quite spry and energetic.`She`s gone to playgroups with other dainty and gentle pups, where she co-exists well. Like all our dogs, she`d love to do a meet and greet at the shelter with any potential doggie siblings to ensure a great match for everyone. Cher is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. They are generally calm and settled, with that lovely mature energy that we all can appreciate. They are often house-trained or easily trained, and sometimes already know several commands. And there is very little more rewarding in life than providing that safe, loving home for a dog who would be most grateful to spend the rest of their life in comfort.
