My story

Talk about a rough start to life. Marilyn Monroe, her six littermates and her mom, were abandoned shortly after birth. Even though AALOC was at maximum capacity we couldn’t turn our back on the momma cat and her young family. Marilyn Monroe is a female brown and black mackerel tabby. She is a real looker for sure and she love to have all the attention in the room. Pet her for a total purr machine experience! Marilyn is super social and likes to play. She particularly likes to play with her siblings – John Wayne, James Dean, Audrey Hepburn, Judy Garland and Greta Garbo. Marilyn also gets along well with other cats. Marilyn can be adopted separately or pick two (or more!) from the litter for the most love and affection. You won’t ever be disappointed! Please submit an application to adopt Marilyn Monroe. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Marilyn and get to know her a bit. Adoption donation of $100 per cat includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances.
