My story

Pickles is a stunning long-haired gentleman with a soft white and grey coat and a heart full of quiet potential. This handsome boy has known the comforts of a home before, and it’s clear he’s longing to return to a calm, predictable environment where he can truly come into his own. Pickles thrives in peace and prefers a low-stress, quiet space where he can build trust at his own pace. He enjoys affection—but only on his terms—and once he feels safe, he shows his love in quiet, tender ways. He’s not a fan of dogs and finds their energy overwhelming, but he can coexist with other respectful cats who understand the value of personal space. Unfortunately, the shelter environment is just too much for Pickles. The constant noise and activity leave him feeling stressed and withdrawn. What he needs most is a patient adopter who will give him the time and space he needs to feel safe.
