My story

Wanna play Duck Duck Goose? Guero (who prefers to be called Goose) is always happy to play! Unless you’d rather curl up on the couch…he’s great at that, too. Even though Goose didn’t get the best start in life, he’s a goofy, loving dood, searching for the right family to love him back. Because he wasn’t in an ideal situation early on, Goose is looking for someone who is patient and consistent about building trust with him. Once you do, you’ll own his heart forever! And yours is sure to melt when he comes and leans his head against you to show his devotion. Goose is not one to attend Happy Hour on the local patio or hang at the neighborhood park–too many strangers lurk in those places. He’s perfectly content to wait at home while you’re out and about, saving all of his love for those he knows best and trusts. Goose adores toys and is proficient at backyard zoomies. He would appreciate a securely fenced yard where he can play safely. He’s sure to make you laugh with his antics. He also finds joy in playing with other dogs, so another medium-energy dog-buddy would be a bonus–this dood has a fun-loving and affectionate nature.Guero has been working diligently with one of DDR’s partner trainers and is one very well-educated dood! Because of his relationship with the trainer, his adoption is limited to the DFW area. The successful adopter will be supported with continued training with Goose, to ensure he makes a great transition to his new home. Are you ready to give Goose a new “leash” on life?!? Goose/Guerro adoption fee is $600. He is HW negative, current on all vaccines and HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Goose a second chance.
