Blue

My story

A26747 Blue is a white with brown colored, approximately 4-year-old, 62-pound, neutered male, Pitbull. He entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 04-02-2025 due to the fact he was moving and could not bring a dog to his new home. Blue is a friendly, but on the timid and shy side here at the shelter. He is still trying to figure out the shelter environment and why he is here, so a little unsure. Even though you can tell he is nervous here, he is well behaved and was easy to leash. Very happy to go for a walk. He will need a little leash training as he weaves around but does take correction well. Our staff describes him as a happy boy who is eager for attention and approval. He has had some training and will “sit” upon command. He has probably been an outside dog so may need to be house broken or rewarded for good behavior as a reminder. He came in with another dog and they got along fine, but a meet and greet is recommended. The previous owner says he has lived with other dogs and children, but not cats. Blue will be a loving, loyal family member in his new forever home.
