My story
Meet Turtle š¾š Turtle is a 4-year-old, 11 lb Chihuahua mix with a tender soul and a heart thatās been through a lot. This tiny girl is currently very scared and overwhelmed, and she needs a calm, quiet home where she can begin to feel safe. Due to her fearfulness, no kids for Turtleāshe's looking for an understanding adult-only home with someone who has experience and patience. Right now, Turtle is extremely stressed in the shelter environment and can be nippy when she's afraid. But under all that fear is a dog who just wants to feel secure and loved. With time, patience, and a gentle touch, we believe Turtle can begin to trust again. If youāre someone with a big heart and a quiet space where Turtle can learn to breathe easy, she just might be your perfect little companion. š¶šš
