Papa

My story

Papa John is back at the humane society, as usual, no fault of his own. His adopters wrongfully rehomed him after a break-up and that new home was not able to take care of the animals they had. Papa cannot wait to find his FOREVER family that loves him, doesn't break up with him, and keeps him in a safe happy home forever. Papa is good with kids! He is a bigger boy and occasionally forgets his size. Good with cats, pays them no mind. Seems to do well with most other dogs, but as always, a meet and greet would be required. Papa seems to know all the basic commands. He is a loving boy, but maybe doesn't show his love on his first walk with you. It's not his fault, he has been bounced around a lot and when people come to walk him, he just wants to walk and not get too attached because he can't take the heartbreak any more. If you take him out on a ride and/or spend a little longer time with him he comes around and shows his love! Give the boy a chance and you'll have the best pizza date partner ever.
