My story

Hey, my name is Alexa! I'm a black girl kitty of 8 months, and I come with all the latest Alexa features: Purring, playing, and if you let me get on your computer, I bet I can figure out how to order stuff from Amazon for us, too! Or maybe I'll just take a nap on it, hah! I grew up here in the shelter, so I am a little shy about being out of a cage. I have heard about furever homes, though, and they sound waaaay better than being in a cage all day! I hope my new furever family gives me some time to adjust and learn how to be me!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    April 4, 2025, 8:20 pm
