Gus

My story

All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step. Gus was found as a stray running in a pack of dogs in Georgia. He's amazingly friendly and loves people. He must have had some sort of family at one time.. he's learning how to play gently with his foster people. Very smart boy. Has learned sit and paw in a week. Gus is eager to learn. He eats up praise! Very sweet pup will make a great companion for a family (preferably no toddlers) as Gus is still learning not to jump and mouth. But he certainly has come a long way in one week !  All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only. April 4, 2025, 9:05 pm
