My story

Meet Curious George! Much like the monkey with which he shares a name, our George is outgoing and inquisitive. He loves to meet new friends and be included in whatever`s going on. He maintained his friendly disposition even when he was brought in with a very serious injury that resulted in him losing a leg. He never let it dampen his spirits, and he has adjusted to his new way of life remarkably well. He often forgets he has any limitations at all, trying to sit up like a prairie dog or put his front feet on people`s legs to rest his head in their lap. He recently met with a family with small children (under 10) and did very well. His amiable personality and go-with-the-flow attitude mean that he would do well in a wide variety of households. At just over a year old, he has his whole life ahead of him to join you in all of your endeavors. Like to go for walks in the park? George would love to accompany you! Prefer to watch sports rather than participate? George would be happy to snuggle up with you on the couch! He`s just happy to be included. If you`re looking for an affectionate and adaptable dog who`ll be your 3-legged shadow and #1 fan, come in and ask to meet with Curious George any day of the week between the hours of noon and 6:30 pm! Adoptions are free and include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home.
