My story

Meet Miss Maple! Maple is a 1 year old chihuahua/dachshund mix that was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. Maple was adopted from the same shelter as a small pup and was just recently returned when the owners no longer wanted a dog. We saw that Maple needed our help and rescued her from the euthanasia list. Maple is nervous at first but quickly opens up. She loves her people and will follow them around wherever they go. She has had much structure or training in her young life but is a very quick learner so should pick up on that. Since she is still a puppy, she does chew and will tear up her plushy dog toys or beds. She is learning to walk on leash and understands the concept. She gets along well with other dogs but tends to be a bit nervous at first as she is afraid of getting hurt, slow introductions with new dogs is always best!!
