What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.Jason solicits attention and accepts petting but may be assertively demanding of attention or may play roughly. Due to overstimulation we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced cat parent home. This is a great job for him as Juan is no stranger to variety and range, plus he's ready to join in at a moment's notice. Managing to somehow stretch out and curl into himself by reaching his little paws to me, Juan is one particularly well rounded party fellow. Gently tucking his head into my hand, Juan was happy to cuddle but sat right up when he saw the pipe cleaner feather in my hand. Grabbing it with both paws to pull it back toward him, Juan's adventurous and engaging with a terrific sense of fun. While we don't know too much about his life before he came to us, he's been using his time here to make friends. Happily headbutting and proudly purring, he's practicing his first impressions because he knows he really has to make them count for when he meets you.
