Pelokas

My story

Sweet Pelokas is a beautiful boy. We have reason to believe he has never truly felt love before, and he would be thrilled to see what that's like! He's quite scared, but not in an unmanageable way. He just doesn't know if you're going to hurt him or love him. He sure hopes you're going to stoop down to rub his belly! He knows that that feels really good, and he thinks that it would be great to have a home where a belly rub was a daily ritual. Pelokas would probably do best in a quiet home. He might be okay with a cat, but his temporary foster had a LOT of dogs and cats, and that was a bit overwhelming for the boy, so he didn't get a whole lot of interactions with them to know for certain. He definitely wants to please his person. He can't wait to get out of the shelter and find his home where he can learn that he's safe and feel loved for the first time. He's a low energy, quiet dog. He loves his crate and feels safe there. He's an angel on a leash and doesn't pull. Pelokas is really an easy guy if he can get a chance to settle in!
