KIARA*

My story

Kiara is a trusting, friendly pup who initially came to the shelter way back in 2021 and was adopted. Unfortunately, she showed up as a stray in 2025 and her family didn’t come to claim her. While we don’t know Kiara’s story over the past 4 years, we do know that she is as sweet, playful, outgoing and silly as ever! For a pup to return to the shelter and maintain a positive, cheery temperament shows resilience and an easygoing nature! Kiara’s volunteer friends enjoy their time with her, with one sharing:“Kiara is a very nice girl. She is easy to leash and a good walker. She sits nicely, takes greats gently and is affectionate. She makes good eye contact and is easy to handle. She loves rolling on the ground or just laying on her back waiting to see if someone might belly rub her. She’s a very good girl!”Kiara shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and tolerant overall when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. At six years old, Kiara is the perfect age to enjoy casual walks and lots of belly rubs next to you on the couch.
