My story

Chipmunk prefers the company of other cats to humans right now, but she does come for pets and playtime when her siblings are getting love from her foster people. She had a rough start to life so learning to trust people is taking time, especially when loud noises or fast movements cause her to want to run and hide. She watches her foster siblings and the experienced adult cats get love and pets, and she wants that so she tries to come forward and relax when being loved on, but she doesn't stay long. She loves to play though, and will forget her fears when she really gets to playing (unfortunately one of her favorite play things right now is her foster mom's foot). She is a big fan of treats (especially Churu) and wet food, so you can work on buying her love and trust through those, but the best is when she has a feline friend she can love on and learn from to watch how they react to their people. Kittens adopted through FUR will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for Felv/FIV and they are microchipped prior to adoption. Typical Kitten adoption donations are $175, cash or cards accepted, sorry no checks. Southern California residents only, we do not adopt to residents not within driving distance of our adoption centers.
