My story

Leia is a sweetheart with adults—once she’s comfortable, she’s incredibly affectionate and loves to curl up for cuddles. She’s never bitten or scratched out of anger; any little swats she gives are purely playful. Her favorite things in the world? Feather toys, cardboard boxes, and a cozy hideaway spot to call her own. While she’s totally tolerant of kids and dogs, Leia clearly prefers a more peaceful environment. We think she’d blossom in a home without young kids or other pets—or possibly just calm, respectful adults who can give her the serene space she deserves. Cats adopted through FUR will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for Felv/FIV and they are microchipped prior to adoption. Typical Adult cat adoption donations are $150, cash or cards accepted, sorry no checks. Southern California residents only, we do not adopt to residents not within driving distance of our adoption centers.
