My story

Leaf is a sweet, smart, adolescent puppy who is active and playful. He is learning good leash skills and walks well when he's away from the noise of the shelter environment. He knows sit, can be redirected when he's overstimulated, and is especially motivated by treats! He is a total love and would be a wonderful addition to any home that has the time and energy for a dog that will need a high amount of physical and mental stimulation. Like any young dog, he will need positive training and reinforcement to become the best he can be. If this sounds like the dog for you, then come meet him during our walk-in hours Friday and Saturday or by appointment Monday through Thursday, 11-3. Adoption fees are $50 and include microchip, neuter, and all up-to-date vaccinations. Adoptions are always free for veterans. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
