My story

Hi, I’m Violet—a soft, shy little soul with a heart full of love for other cats. I’m a dilute calico, which means my coat is made of soft peaches and purples instead of bright oranges and blacks. People say I’m beautiful—and I don’t mind hearing it! My meow is tiny and sometimes silent, but I make up for it with the gentle way I follow my feline friends around like a schoolgirl with a crush. I adore other cats—truly, it’s my favorite thing in the whole world. I rub on them, follow them, and just want to be near them. If they’re grumpy or unsure, I give them their space and try again later. It`s really important to me I go to a home with another feline friend! I’ve never met a dog, but loud noises and unfamiliar things? No thank you.I’m somewhat active, especially when there’s a wand toy involved. I love climbing up high in my cat tree to feel safe and watch the world go by. Automated toys scare me, though. People kind of scare me too. I want to trust and connect so badly—you can see it in my eyes—but I need a lot of time and patience. If my feline buddies are nearby, I feel a little braver and might even come out for some pets (on my terms, of course). When I do let you pet me, it’s clear how much I enjoy it. But if it’s just me and you... I might stay hidden unless you have a wand toy and give me some space.My perfect home is calm, quiet, and filled with kindness. I need a friendly, gentle cat friend to bond with—that’s non-negotiable. No kids, no chaos, and no pressure. I also need a slow introduction to my new home, with a dedicated quiet space of my own at first.
