My story

Hi, I’m January. I was taken in at a rural shelter, just a girl with a quiet heart and a big dream of finding a place where I could finally feel safe, loved, and cherished. Not long after, I gave birth to 11 beautiful puppies on Christmas Day—each one named after a month of the new year 2025. AHS pulled me from there and I was given the chance to survive in a foster home - It was a magical time, but now that they’ve all gone to their forever homes, it’s my turn. I’m ready for the love and peace I’ve always dreamed of.I’m the perfect blend of playful energy and cozy cuddles. I love heading outside to explore all the exciting sights and smells—there’s just so much to sniff! Sometimes I get a little too excited and pull on the leash, but if you stop walking, I’ll stop too. I’m always eager to say hi to new people with my tail wagging and a big smile on my face.After a good walk, my favorite thing is curling up right next to you for some serious snuggle time. I’m definitely a cuddler—I’ll flop down right on top of you if you let me, and if I’m extra happy, get ready for some enthusiastic face kisses! I truly believe I’m a lap dog and will do everything I can to be as close to you as possible.I’m super food-motivated—if you’ve got snacks, I’m your new best friend. I don’t love being left alone, even though I can handle it, but I’d much rather be with you, sharing every moment.I’m looking for a home where I can be the only pet—I have a lot of love to give and want to share it all with you! I haven’t spent time around kids, so I’m not sure how I’d do, but if you’re someone who’s ready to accept all the love I have to offer, we might be the perfect match.Let’s make a life full of walks, treats, and cuddles together!Love,January
