My story

Hi, I’m Colleen, a quiet, gentle soul with a soft purr and a heart that’s learning how to trust.I spent the early part of my life outside, but a kind person made sure I was safe, spayed, and vaccinated before helping me take the next step toward a loving home. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was understandably unsure of things.Since then, I’ve made big strides. I now purr when I hear the voices of people I know and have started to enjoy gentle pets. I still like to tuck away during the day, especially when things are busy, but in a calm, patient environment, I feel safe enough to come out and connect.I would thrive in a peaceful home with someone who understands that I open up at my own pace.
