My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.We are an all-volunteer/foster home-based rescue. Apply to adopt by filling out the online adoption application on our main website dakotadachshundrescue.org Click on Adoption Info under the Navigation bar on the left side of the page. Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it. This is Willow.She just arrived in Dakota Dachshund Rescue so we are just getting to know her. She was a stray running with 3 other dogs in Georgia  She had been in the shelter for 3 months so they asked us to take her. Willow is a very timid and shy lady. Eats well and appears to be housebroken. She loves to run in our fenced yard and she is playful with other pups. She’s learning social queues from my other foster dogs, but is always down for a good neck scratch.  She is unsure of stairs, does well in kennel. She’s had a journey from what I am told and a bath did her well upon arrival with my new foster family.  She has such a sweet face, sweet demeanor, she’s a great addition to anyone’s homes. Willow does require a fenced yard. Can you be her furever home?
