Ruby

My story

DDO: took Ruby for a couple walks, which she did great! We went to Home Depot, got a frozen treat at Andy’s custard, and found open grass and played with her doggie toys. The tennis ball is her favorite! She could play fetch all day. She knows how to sit and does well with commands. She’s very sweet and playful and loving. Ruby is the best dog and so deserving of finding her furever home.DDO 4/29 Ruby is shy at first and slow to trust people. Once she does does she come out of her shell. You cannot buy your way to her trust with treats or toys, just give her time. Initially she was not intersted in treats or chasing a ball. After giving her some time to explore and get some pets, she started being social. I called her up to the couch beside me and she laid down with her head on my lap. Shortly she started snoring. Once she woke up, we went outside on the long leash and fetch with the ball was on. She loves to chase the ball and bring it back. She always drops the ball near you. Then she decided treats were okay. Not at all demanding with treats or attention. Ruby is as happy watching you as she is playing with you.
