My story

Are you looking for the rolliest, the polliest, the most belly-rubbing-est cat there is? Petra is estimated around 6-8 years old and came into the shelter when her owner went into a nursing home. At first, Petra was ‘petra-fied’ and wanted to curl up in a corner and hide. Within days, she began to blossom when staff came into her room, strolling over to head butt and flop over with a purr and a trill! Petra has continued to come out of her shell and is eagerly awaiting her future family with many longing stares at the condo door! She’s shown some promising interest in toys, but still prefers laying by your side and being loved on. Petra is currently eating a low calorie diet and would benefit from a weight loss plan to keep her spry as she moves closer to her golden years! We don’t know how Petra feels about dogs, cats, or children, but she certainly showers the shelter staff with love. If you can’t resist patting a fluffy belly and don’t want it to be a trap, Petra might be your purrfect girl!
