My story

There are days when the struggles of rescue life feel nothing short of overwhelming. The kennels are full, the laundry piles up, and the sweetest dog gets the worst diagnosis. Don’t ask us how, but Chloe knew exactly what was happening the day her loving owner had to leave her behind. It was like something out of a movie, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the theater. She had a mass on her back that needed to be removed but we were hopeful it was benign and wouldn’t get in the way of Chloe quickly finding her forever home. We could see the fairy tail ending of her in a quiet, loving home. Unfortunately, she just can’t seem to catch a break. The biopsy report revealed the worst possible outcome: Chloe has a rare and aggressive form of cancer called Metrical Carcinoma. Our team is devastated from the news, and our hearts ache as we share Chloe's story with you. We can't guarantee her future, but we're determined to do everything in our power to find her a family before it's too late. We promised Chloe that we’d fight for her, and we ask you to join us in this effort. We are looking for an immediate hospice home for Chloe. She is very sweet and well-behaved. We have limited information on her past but believe she would do best in a home without other pets. In an effort to get her out of her kennel and onto a couch, we are willing to see how she does on a case-by-case situation.
