My story

Hi, I’m Chesire!You might say I’ve had a dramatic start to life—I was rescued from a well! At first, I wasn’t too sure about humans… but now? I’ve decided they’re pretty useful—especially as warm, cozy beds.I may be the spiciest of my siblings, but I promise I’m worth the extra TLC. Once I feel safe, I love curling up in a warm lap, snoozing on a heated mat, or batting at a wand toy (when I’m in the mood, of course).I get along great with other cats, but dogs? No, thank you. I’ve made it very clear that they’re not my cup of tuna.If you have a quiet home and a little extra patience, I’ll reward you with lots of cuddles and adorable nap sessions. Ready to help this formerly-lost girl write the next chapter of her story?My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.
