Skrilla

My story

Skrilla came to us when his owner no longer had time or money to care for him. He is a very sweet boy, a little shy when he is in his kennel but super sweet when he is out with you. He takes treats and toys with a soft mouth, retrieves his toys and easily gives them to you to throw. Skrillo knows sit, wait and down. He'll even walk himself on a leash. When feeding him, he responds to "wait" and sits until told he can eat it. Once here, we tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases and he is all negative. His vaccines have been updated and he is just waiting to be neutered and microchipped. He seems fine around other dogs. we'll continue to get to know him this week and he has already become a staff favorite. Skrillo has now spent time up in the apartment above the shelter and he is very well behaved. He settles quickly. He gets a little nervous around strangers but acclimates quickly.
