Izzak

My story

Izzak This gorgeous, sweet boy is Izzak, aka King Louis XIV, who we believe to be a long haired tri colored Spaniel mix with fur as soft as silk. Weighing about 35lbs and approximately 4 years old, he’s a little shy at first, but when he warms up, he’s an absolute love bug, cuddle machine that doesn’t want to leave your side. He’s working towards being house trained with just a few accidents, currently not neutered. He’s been great in the car when crated, but will try and sit on you in the drivers seat if not. He’s not a big fan of the crate at night, but will sleep if he knows you’re nearby, we think he hopes to sleep at the foot of your bed eventually. He gets on well with other dogs, loves the fenced in yard to run around with his foster fur siblings and is learning to walk on a leash. He’s ever so inquisitive and will stop to sniff everything. He will sit for treats, knows the word “no” and “uh ha” and loves a chew bone/treat. He’s hasn’t been around children but he is a gentle soul, so it’s not anticipated to be an issue.
