My story

Meet Lucy, a sweet, mellow middle aged adult feline who's spent most of her life in the great outdoors. Her face bears the scars of a seasoned explorer, but don't let that fool you. Lucy's heart is full of warmth and gentleness. She's the kind of cat who'll sidle up to you for a good petting session, purring her heart out in gratitude. It takes Lucy awhile to relax in a new home, she needs time to adjust. At her first foster home she was deemed "the futon cat" becuase all she did was hide under the futon in her foster room for a few weeks. Once she has warmed up to her environment, and despite her rugged past, Lucy is incredibly friendly. At her current foster home Lucy is very relaxed and doesn't hide fornher foster mom at all. Lucy does great with other cats and looks to them for comfort when she is frightened by new humans. Lucy is using the litterbox neatly like a champ. She has a calm demeanor that can soothe even the most stressful day. Lucy's spirit of resilience, her affectionate nature, and her love for a simple petting session make her the perfect companion. Her life's journey has brought her here with us, ready for adoption to share her love with a family that will give her time to show her sweetness and cherish her.
